Björn Berg - with pencil, paper and brush

Björn Berg (1923-2008) was one of Sweden's most popular and productive drawing artists. Berg drew everything from children's books and humorous reflections via travels and reports to popular history. Nowadays, Björn Berg is best known for his illustrations for Astrid Lindgren's books about Emil in Lönneberga and Alf Pröysen's Mrs Pepperpot, but he has also created drawings for more than 400 books and made countless illustrations for a variety of magazines. The exhibition shows works from his entire long and content-rich life as a drawing artists and illustrator.
