Rune Andréasson - The World´s strongets exhibition
Rune Andréasson, 1925-1999, was a Swedish cartoonist and animator. He made his debut in 1944 with comics for younger children and during his career created lots of cartoons and books, published both in Sweden and abroad. Some of the most famous are Brum, Little Richard and his cat and Pellefant. In 1958, Andréasson made his first TV series Nalle draws and tells. But Rune Andréasson's most famous creation is of course Bamse – the world's strongest bear, which debuted in 1966. Bamse has been animated many times and the comic book has been published since 1973. Bamse is our most successful Swedish children's comic.
